This page was created (very quickly, I might add) as a central location for collecting information discussion about the Apex AD-600A DVD player.

Why is this DVD player special?  As first noted on Ars Technica (www.ars-technica.com), this relatively inexpensive ($169 at Circuit City) DVD player is also capable of playing burned CD-ROMs full of MP3 audio files.

My apologies for the lack of news updates, I've had a busy few months.  Anyway, I'm back into site improvement mode, and we're starting off with a new webhost.  All site services, with the exception of the FAQ, are now integrated under the nerd-out.com domain, and are all running from a stable webhost.

The mailing list is back up and running under new list software (Mailman was incompatible with the new web host).  All current subscriptions were transferred to the new software.  There will be a web interface for subscription management up shortly, as well as archives of the old and new lists.

I've also asked for help moderating the forums, and for user suggestions of new forum categories.  You'll see those changes come into play in the near future.  I am also setting up a news script to keep the front page fresher and to allow for news submissions.
