Another question which comes up time and time again is "Can the Apex 500W ever be made to have the Hidden Menu/Loophole Menu like the early AD-600A players did?"

The answer to this is "YES" because it is only software and anything is possible given the right person. However I doubt whether we will see such a Hidden Menu because to make a Hidden Menu requires a lot of programming experience. In my time involved with the Apex players (well over a year now) there has been many talented people looking at the firmware for several Apex players and no-one has ever been able to make a Hidden Menu.

Maybe one day I will have better news on this subject but for now there is no such thing as a Hidden Menu for the AD-500W. Sorry.
