Sampo Firmware
The following unofficial firmware files work on Sampo DVD players and some of their re-badged clones (See table below). They are all repatched versions of firmware which is currently available, and these versions here reinstate the loophole menus to allow the user to have multi-region playback and to have a VCR friendly player, useful if connecting to the TV via the VCR if you don’t have the necessary connections.
Note that the zip files are no longer password protected. Please note that I do not have any more information than the files listed here. They were supplied anonymously and I do not have access to any Sampo players. I have been asked to point out that these files are not official releases from Sampo and therefore are not connected to either Sampo in the US or in Taiwan, or indeed myself.
